Dr. Julien H. Meyer, Jr.

Doctor Julien H. Meyer, Jr. is a native of Roanoke Virginia. His father, Doctor Julien H. Meyer, Sr. founded Physicians To Women in 1940. Doctor Meyer Jr. received his undergraduate BA degree from the University of North Carolina with a double major in history and chemistry. Doctor Meyer received his MD from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland serving as a fellow and chief resident. He received an honorable discharge from the USAF as Captain, M.D. Doctor Meyer is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has served as Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital from 1987 to 1991. He has an appointment as assistant clinical professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is the past President of the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Doctor Meyer is active in Roanoke Valley community affairs, including serving on the board of the Community Foundation for Roanoke Valley and the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce. Doctor Meyer now limits his practice to Gynecology.
