Dr. Jamie Buck joined Physicians to Women in 2012. She was born in Pearisburg, Virginia. Dr. Buck received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Wake Forest University and her M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. Her residency was in OB/GYN at Wake Forest University. Dr. Buck is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is married and the proud mother of three beautiful, fun, and inquisitive young girls.
Doctor Mark Chewning joined Physicians To Women in 2010. He was born and lived in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia until attending college at Virginia Tech where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following college, he worked as a paramedic until being called to deliver his first infant, baby Brooke, at her home in Virginia Beach. This amazing experience changed his life. Doctor Chewning then earned both his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science and his Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina where he served as the Chief Resident. Doctor Chewning and his wife, Stephany, are the happy blended parents of five children. Doctor Chewning is Board Certified by the Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Doctor Dianna L. Curtis joined Physicians To Women in 2000. She was born in Bethesda, Maryland. Doctor Curtis received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her residency was completed in OB/GYN with Carilion Health System. Doctor Curtis is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She served as Chief of the OB/GYN Department at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital 2008 – 2009. Dr. Curtis has been recognized numerous years in the Roanoker magazine as one of the best OB/GYN doctors in Roanoke. She is also a trained da Vinci robotic surgeon.
Dr. Heather Barrett Draeger joined Physicians to Women in early 2019. She was born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Draeger graduated cum laude from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and then went on to University of Illinois College of Medicine. There she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Draeger did her residency training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She then returned to Illinois and worked in a federally health qualified clinic. Dr. Draeger is board certified. Dr. Draeger met her husband, Jon Draeger, and married. Shortly after, they moved to Florence, South Carolina and began their family. They have a son and a daughter. Both are excited about exploring, learning, and loving others. The Draeger’s are very proud parents. Dr. Draeger and her family moved here in 2019. They have found this to be their forever home. They bought an old horse farm and are trying to improve it day by day. Their family cherishes learning each and every day. ‘Without learning we do not grow."
Doctor Jill Gaines joined Physicians To Women in 2009. She was born in San Antonio, Texas. Doctor Gaines received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She received her Doctor of Medicine from University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, Nebraska. Her residency was completed in OB/GYN with Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Doctor Gaines spent several summers providing medical services to patients in Belize, Nepal, Nicaragua, and India. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gaines and her husband are the proud parents of twin boys and a girl.
Dr. Kane joined Physicians to Women in 2017. She grew up in Narrows, VA. She received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Health Promotion from Virginia Tech. While attending Virginia Tech she also was a starter for the women’s basketball team. She attended medical school at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her OB/GYN residency was completed at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Dr. Kane is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She and her husband are the proud parents of a daughter and a son.
Dr. Donna L. Musgrave has been practicing with Physicians to Women since 1990. She attended University of Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree followed by her Doctor of Medicine and then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She then spent four years on the faculty of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Now here in Roanoke, she provides wellness and preventative care to women of all ages with special emphasis on menopausal issues, urinary incontinence, pelvic support disorders and minimally invasive surgeries, including use of the daVinici robot surgical system. She is licensed to practice medicine in Virginia, certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds memberships in the American Urogynecological Society, the South Atlantic Association of Gynecologists, and the North American Menopause Society. She has worked with Planned Parenthood and the Bradley Free Clinic and teaches Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Roanoke, including a sexuality course for middle school aged children. Outside of medicine, Dr. Musgrave has served on the board of Community School, actively participates in the Roanoke Valley Sister Cities Program, volunteers for the Southwest Virginia Ballet and spends time with her four wonderful children and various pets. She has limited her practice to Gynecology since 2012 and welcomes new patients. Dr. Musgrave is now a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner, a designation which reflects her special interest and training in menopause.
Dr. Caroline Welchman joined Physicians to Women in 2023. She was raised in Roanoke and graduated from Northcross School. Dr. Welchman attended Davidson College for undergraduate medical education then received her doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She completed OB/GYN residency training at the University of South Carolina where she served as chief resident. She has special interests in pediatric gynecology, family planning, and compassionate obstetrical care and believes very strongly in helping patients achieve the family they have envisioned. She and her husband are the proud parents of a beautiful, strong and bright little girl. In their spare time they love biking, hiking, and being near any water. Dr. Welchman is excited to return to her hometown and provide care to the Roanoke valley's amazing women!
Dr. Denise Inman joined Physicians to Women in 2023. She grew up in Johnstown, PA. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Liberty University, and her doctorate at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Inman then returned to PA for her OB/GYN residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where she taught medical students and created medical simulations to improve resident education. Dr. Inman believes in empowering her patients with knowledge to improve their health. She and her husband are excited to call Roanoke home. While not at work, they enjoy reading, hiking, running, and taking their Golden Retriever, Luna, on new adventures. Dr. Inman also has a passion for baking and all things crafty.
Sarah Hahn joined Physicians to Women at the end of 2021. She grew up in the New River Valley and graduated from Emory & Henry College with a degree in Athletic Training. Sarah continued her education at the University of Virginia where she obtained a master’s degree in Kinesiology. At that time, she decided to change careers and pursue a nursing degree. She obtained her BSN from Radford University Carilion. She worked as a labor & delivery nurse while obtaining her master’s degree to become a family nurse practitioner from Radford University Carilion. Sarah lives in her hometown of Shawsville, VA with her husband and is expecting their first child. She is excited to provide care to women in the Roanoke Valley and beyond.
Stephanie Quinn is a Roanoke native who has been with Physicians To Women, Inc., since 2004. Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from Radford University. She received her Master of Science as a nurse practitioner with a concentration in women’s health from Virginia Commonwealth University. Stephanie is the proud mother of two children, a daughter, and a son. She has several interests which include hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
Sarah was born and raised here in the Roanoke Valley and is proud to call Roanoke home. She sees Roanoke as the perfect mix of a little city living and the outdoors. She couldn’t imagine living or raising her young growing family anywhere else. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech before attending Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences where she received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Having pursued a career in medicine because of her interest and passion for women’s health, she considers it the greatest privilege and honor to have the opportunity to care for women here in her hometown. Sarah and her husband, Justin, are parents to two small boys. Together they enjoy sharing their love of gardening, hiking, and exploring the valley with them. She is forever grateful for the joy, growth, and refinement that she experiences daily in both her roles as momma and PA!
